Want to sign up to use skype and looking for a recomendation for phone/headphones and a web cam.Can anyone recommend some equipment please.
 
Any web cam, headphone set and mic will do... so what are your requirements? I wouldn't bother with very expensive equipment but a decent webcam (good resolution in particular) will make a difference. You should be able to buy the whole lot for around €50.
 
Go onto ebay, way better cameras at a fraction of the cost in any shop.
 
Have a look at some of the Logitech ones - 2 megapixel camera. Several models come with built in microphones if you don't want to use headphones.
