Sky ... sound but no picture. HELP!

Hi there,

I got sky installed a few weeks ago. I got the Sky+ box installed in the sitting room and the "normal" sky box in the kitchen (for the kids).

This evening the TV in the kitchen is only playing the sound but there's no picture. It was working fine up to now. It's TV / DVD combo so I put in a DVD and this played without any problems.

I restarted both the sky box and the TV but the problem still happens.

Any ideas / suggestions as to what I can do (before I call Sky technical support)??

How is the Sky box connected to the tv?
Is is RGb ( 3 wires with red,white and yellow) , through a scart cable or through s-video cable

Make sure the connectins are in properly at the back of the tv

If that doesn't work, check the connections at the dish. Something similar happened to me a few months after installation and when I checked the dish I found the cables going into the LNB hadn't been tightened - easy fix.

Blinder, it's connected via Scart. I switched the scart around and it worked .
