sky+ remote on sony bravia,losing connection???

hi all,
sorry if this has been asked before,
my trouble is i have sony bravia 40",
have new sky+ remote which i programmed in and
was working perfectly but for some reason remote and tv lose connection,i.e,volume button doesnt do anything??

this was happening with my original sky+ remote so i bought
new one and same problem.so furstrating,ive tried all known codes
038 worked when i programmed it in a couple of weeks ago.
did this happen to anyone else??
HELP!sorry for long winded question.
any help greatly appreciated.

Batteries is the only thing on the remote I can think of ?

If there are old or loose batteries then the remote would lose the settings. I programmed in my parents sony tv, think its a bravia and either 000 or 001 worked
