Sky + Query

I currently have Sky satellite with Sky World package.
I was thinking about getting Sky+, so when they come to install it, do they use the same sky card or do you get a new one?
My Idea behind the question is, if they use the same card, is it possible to put the current sky box in another house with a dish and when I stay there I could bring the card with me and have the full package there also?

Same card is used, although paired with Sky+ box.

When you stick it back into old box, you won't have access to the likes of Sky Sports or Sky Movies. Other channels like Sky One, Discovery, etc would work.

why would I be able to get all those other channels on the old box?

It's just the way Sky has setup the encryption.
