Sky Package

Hi there. I ordered online today with Sky for the basic package the provide for 21.50 per month. I received an order reference back from them but when i rang customer service they had no record of it. I asked should i re-order but they said that i'd only duplicate my order by doing so.
Has anyone out there had similar problems?

It probably takes a little time to propagate from the online ordering system to whatever the rep was looking up. I'd sit tight for a little while yet. Did you have any reason to contact them?

I've spoken to them again since and they said exactly what you did, that it takes a few days for the online order to come up on their screens.
The only reason i contacted them was to see if they could come out within in the next fortnight but they advised that they wouldn't be able to tell me until i placed the order so that's what i did and sure then they couldn't even see the order! Ah well, sometimes doing things online isn't all it's cracked up to be Next time I think I'll just phone!
