Skiing in Vermont

Hi all. I will be in the US for a few weeks in Nov/Dec.

I was hoping to do some skiing. I originally thought I would ski in NY but am now considering Vermont as I will also be in Connecticut and Vermont is only a couple of hours from there

Any opionions greatly appreciated .............. especially from people who were there in Dec time (hoping to ski around the 15th to 19th something like that)

Killington is a good place to go to in Vermont although there may not be much snow in December. It can tend to be a bit icy but they have excellent snow making facilities. If you do go check out The Wobbley barn (on the access road) for a great place to go in the evenings and Charity's (also off the mountain) does free chicken wings apres ski if you buy beer.
