I'm just wondering whether anyone had any info/experience on purchasing ski properties. I'm go skiing every year and am looking at the option of actually purchasing property in Austria/?.
I have 3 developments picked out but before i go any further i would love to hear some real life stories, did it all work out as expected, whats the rental income like during the summer months, do you have a mgt compant looking after the rental, how many weeks a year do you have personal acces, etc, etc. I know it is only possible to purchase property (as a foreigner) in some regions of Austria and that you can reduce the tax payable on the property if you agree to let it for a certain period. I have already decided to avoid Bulgaria (transport to/from being the biggest fault) but would consider other options.
