Does anyone have recommendations for good resort/hotel in New Hampshire for family ski holiday Feb 2006 ?

I'd be curious aswell. Did you book flights with Aer Lingus? You should try Tripadvisor.com

I dont know but would rec going shopping for a day.

There is no sales tax and perfume, make up etc even cheaper than Duty Free!

- this one is really useful ,full of helpful contributors that can evaluate a resort on prior personal experience

.. and there is also a similar US ski forum: www.epicski.com - haven't used it much but it is supposed to be very good

personally, i've only skied in Bretton Woods in NH, and that was for a short weekend - i'd say it was OK but no more - not a lot of atmosphere on site and very little by way of non ski activity

Places that do get good reviews in NH are Stowe, Stratton Mountain, Smugglers Notch, Loon Mountain (which i passed durin the summer and it looked good) and Killington (the biggie of the east coast but it is expensive)
