That time of year has come around again, if I;m not already too late, for booking the Xmas ski holiday. I've skied in Soll for the last 2 years and before that in Italy and Bulgaria. I'm looking at Austria again this year and am trying to keep away from Soll for a change, hard given I've always had a great time there. This year I've picked out Mayrhofen as something similar, plenty of runs for both beginner and intermediates, a great apres ski atmosphere, and importantly a high altitude location for some guarantee on snow coverage. I'm also open to France but with the selection there I have no idea where to start. My initial searches have shown France to be cheaper in terms of flights and accom but have heard horror stories of 7-8 euros a pint!!!
