Size of Garage

We are currently building a new house and have planning for a garage which is 26foot by 19.5 feet. The site is not massive and we are wondering is this a very big garage and should we build a smaller one. There will be a boiler, toilet / sink and the tank for the vacuum system in the garage.

Your garage is the size of a 1 or 2bed appartment , e.g. 58sqm. That's big... But if you love classic cars and DIY, that's a good size.

Personaly, i would keep the size below 40sqm so that it may be converted without planning permission.
