Hi
I am interested in purchasing a site but I have some concerns about drainage. There is a slope on the site (about 10ft) where water is likely to sit (the field bordering the site also has a slope down to the same area).
Before buying I'd like a professional opinion to determine the best course of action for drainage and a cost estimate for any work that needed to be done. Obviously the cost of this work may determine if I actually buy the site.
So, my question is who would be able to provide this service? Is it an architect? A builder? A quantity surveyor?
Hey Dunner,
Sorry but guns n roses is off the mark, its a 'land surveyor' you need to survey the land and either a 'chartered engineer' (which might be a civil engineer) or a 'building surveyor' to advise on your drains and potential costs.
