Starting a new house in January by direct labour. Do I need Site/Public Liability insurance. Does anyone know how much this would cost roughly? It's a 1500 Square foot Bungalow.
I used a company in wexford called Arachas last year and I found them to be the best. They charge by the Sq ft if I can remember. From memory I paid a little over €1000 for 1800sq ft house. No association with this company by the way.
Site insurance / Public Liability insurance is very important on a direct labour build. Building sites are very dangerous places. As with all building get at least three quotes - let your fingers do the walking and protect yourself against a claim.
