Hi, Would anyone know how I find out if I have enough space at the back and side of my house to have ,say a 2 bedroom house built.

Hi,Re.above, it occured to me that maybe I should start with an architect ,so I phoned one who is calling out to me.

You dont really need an architect at this stage, from personal experience.
Just contact your local authority/planning dept or log onto their web site.
There is fixed rules re available space needed for garden AFTER you have footprinted the new house in the garden and rules re entrances etc.
You can easily work it out yourself.
