Sister getting married in rome. Recommend hotel for her?

Hi there,
I have never been to Rome. My sister is getting married there in Nov and wonders where she should stay. She is getting married in the Irish College so doesn't want to be too far from there. Idealy a nice 4 star that's not too expensive. Would anyone have any suggestions? I have beeen to trip advisor and some hotels have in equal numbers great reviews and poor reviews so it's confusing.

I think it may be a bit pricey but have a look at the Westin Excelsior Rome. My boss was there on a conference there last week and said it was fantastic. Just do a google for Westin Hotels website. Failing that, have a look at Rome Hotels on Tripadvisor.com, thats always how I decide where to stay.

tell her to check out www.weddingsonline.ie - there are a lot of people planning weddings in Rome on that site. They'd give some personal recommendations.

We're just back from Italy and stayed in the Valadier in Rome.
Was reasonable, great location (Off via del corso at spanish steps), good service and staff- I'd highly recommend.
