Single mum - never claimed taxes

Hi All
My friend is a single mum who works full time but has never claimed back taxes. Her daughter is 4 years old. Ive told her to claim for Refuse Charges and Medical Costs - Is there anything else that she can claim a tax refund for? Should she be paying less tax as a single mum?
