Health Insurance SimplyHealth Plus or PMI 39 14

I have just moved to Ireland and my employer offers me one of these plans:
Laya SimplyHealth Plus and VHI PMI 39 14

I am 27 and usually use insurance for GP visits and regular checks (blood test, ECG, etc). For that both plans are similar: Laya covers 50% for GP/consultant visit and VHI covers 30/100 EUR.

Which one you would go with?

Simply Health Plus has slightly better hospital cover, more permitted visits for things like GP, Physio and a higher outpatient refund limit.

I would suggest checking the location of LAYA clinics versus VHI swiftcare clinics. A convenient VHI clinic might swing it for you towards VHI.

But otherwise, I would opt for LAYA in your shoes.
