hi there,
I've been trying to copy our wedding dvd to pass on to family and friends. I am not any way technical... is there any website that can give simple step by step instructions to copy or burn (not sure which i am looking to do to be honest). ive tried to use some of the earlier suggestions ive tried using DVD+RW and DVD-R but nothing seems to work. Which one is best? I have a NTSC copy of disk also if that makes a difference. Sorry if this is repeating a thread. Any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks

Search for a program called dvd shrink.

You can get it off the web and use it to backup dvd's and strip out regions.

I wouldn't imagine there's any encryption on a wedding dvd.If you have nero, open the program select dvd from the drop down menu, hover over the gold star(favourites),select copy dvd.If you have one drive(the usual arrangement)the same drive name will be in both boxes "source drive" "destination drive".Set the amount of copies you need and then click "copy" Don't tick the "verify data on disc after burning" box.I only use that if I'm burning bootable discs. The disc is then copied into a folder on your hard drive and all copies will be made from this folder.I use DVD+R with anything that's precious i.e. can't be recorded over(Aldi)
