Sign a petition to end 2nd EU building in Strasbourg

Att the moment, the EU has two parliament buildings, meaning that every month for one week all 732 EU parliamentarians and many of their staff have to leave Brussels and head to Strasbourg, this costs €200m a year and is a massive waste of money, there are much better ways for the EU to spend its money.

The aim of this petition organised by a Swedish MEP is to gather one million signatures so as to propose a citizens initiative to end this waste, so far over 25,000 people have signed in 3 days….

Fair play to the Swedes. I have always considered the EU parliaments involvement in Strasbourg a criminal waste of taxpayers money. Just sent the link to my mates also.
