sick pay?

Hi all,
I am now currently out of work on sick leave, I will be unable to work for least 10weeks.I am certified by my doctor but I am due to leave next week on Voluntary redundancy. What happens the day I leave? Will the social still pay me sick benefit? I was going to sign onto job seekers but that would be fraud as I cant actually work at the mo?
Any help would be great, as I didnt plan for this and I am worried I wont get any income.

If you have enough stamps paid, you should qualify for Illness Benefit. I don't think becoming unemployed would be a problem, as you can transfer from Unemployment onto Illness benefit if you become ill while already unemployed
