Sick Pay and Maternity Benefits

Hi Folks

My Wife had a terrible pregnancy, prior to giving birth she went on the sick due to her pregancy issues. During that time she has not claimed maternity benefit, Is it possible to claim maternity benefit now, after her sick cert is up.

Yes, she can make a "late claim". See here (particularly Part 2.4 B).
