I have recently broke the section of the shower outlet that lifts off for cleaning. It is chrome in appearance, but I think it is plastic.
I have inquired in builders providers and been told that I must buy the whole outlet part.
It seems such a small part to have to replace the lot and it is quite vulnerable to breaking again.
Does anybody know where I can get these parts. It was installed 13 years ago and I have 3 of them in my home.
Any help would be appreciated. I dislike throwing out parts when the small part seems should be available.

Same thing just happened to me. Very old shower.
Hursts in castlebar looked up their old stock and found a complete unit.
Only charged 5€.
Suggest you shop around plumbing supply shops with part in hand.
Hi Vandriver,
so kind of you to reply, I tried to attach a photo of the fitting but did not know how to do it.
Could I send it to your email address?
One part is made from chrome and the other part from white plastic.
I would be very grateful for your help.
