Should I just recycle old audio cassette tapes?

Hi,

A relative was throwing out about 400 audio cassette tapes, but I saved them! It just seemed a shame to throw them out, as they are in perfect condition. They span the 70's, 80's, 90's and are a mix of pop, rock etc. I know that music has moved on with DVDs, MP3s and downloads, but surely someone might have a use for them. My other half is on to me that the box is gathering dust and I should just dump them in the recycling skip. Anybody any suggestions?

Or make money?

There is a record shop in that archway beside Halfpenny Bridge that buys old cassettes.

Or you could buy a gizmo to convert cassettes to MP3s........
