I have just been approved for a medical card, I received a text saying my medical card had been granted and a number, saying a GP or Pharmacist can verify it.
Should I have an actual card? or is the number sufficient?
As above poster says plus you should be able to visit your GP while waiting for the card itself, once you have the number.
You can also check under card status if your card is valid and its expiry date. Your could print it off ( I think) or screen shot it and bring that with you if you like, if visiting your GP Medical Card Online
