Short term rent:anywhere I can find a listing of such properties?

Apologies in advance to moderators if this is inappropriately posted!

I need to rent a place (two bed minimum) for three months or so. I have looked at all the usual websites (Daft, myhometolet etc.), but there are very few places available for short-term rent. Anyone know of anywhere I can find a listing of such properties? Would it be worth my while contacting apartment owners looking for one-year leases to see if they would be amenable to a three month letting?

Hi Shaney, you will pay a premium for the short term let but I suppose you already know that. I don't know if many landlords looking at long term letting would be interested in short term but to your other question, Daft have a specific as do Let.ie and they do list quite a few places ... not just in Dublin. Other than that you could look at the corporate letting agents as they frequently deal with short term lets (e.g. http://www.dublinshortlets.com/).

have you looked at gumtree.ie - they have short term lets - but you can also post an add for your own requirements..
