I have been signing on for the last 9 months and receiving JSB.i have been offered 4 months work and am going to sign off.By working these 15/16 weeks will this allow me to claim for another year if I do not pick up another job in the mean time.Tks
Yes, you need 13 weeks PRSi contributions to requalify for JB. If the work only lasts 4 months, you will still be able to claim the balance of Jb from the first claim, then move onto a new claim of 312 days.
