Shopping in Newry

Am planning on heading for Sainsbury's in Newry for good deals on Christmas food and drink. My question is are there any other good deals to be had on heading North. Is it worth while doing some 'Santa' shopping or are prices in Dublin the same on toys and suchlike. Any advice, tips or experiences greatly welcomed from all you shopaholics out there.

Debenhams are having a clearance sale on summer stock at the moment - eg john rocha shirts/t-shirts for under £10. Limited stock though. Also they give you 70p to the Euro - far better rate than even paying by credit card.
