Shopfront design

I'm in the process if opening a hair salon in West Dublin at the minute and have spent the last few days speaking with various shopfront design companies. To be honest, I've been rather unimpressed with everyone I've come accross so far, they've either overcomplicated designs\prices or just been far too slow to come back to me.

Has anyone dealt with a shopfront\signage company that they would recommend.

I'm not looking for anything fancy just a sign (possibly lit up), with our logo mounted on a fake ceiling behind our glass shopfront...nothing major.

This company are good designers but more on the architectural end

They could design a shop front and might have contacts to fit it.

Might be of no real use to you but Design and Display Ltd., based in Waterford are good.

Will you need planning to change shopfront or even erect signage? Check it out thoroughly as it can be restrictive.

PS..Sorry I just realised that you are hanging the sign probably from the inside so planning not an issue then I would imagine>

Thanks Armada, I'll look them up. I do need planning, even though the sign is on the inside of the shop, it will have a visual impact on the street so we'll need planning.

Hi there. I'm a graphic designer and I frequently work with 2 excellent companies who specialise in shop fitting and sign making and installation. We collaborate on projects for all sorts of clients from big pharmacies to little coffee shops. If you get in touch with me we can have a chat about exactly what you require and see if you would like to meet with us.

Thanks for the info - could you PM some contact details and I can give you more info?

Thanks
