Sheriffs budgets cut - not calling to debtors!

Hi all,

I have it on very good authority that the Sheriffs offices around the country have had their budgets slashed with the result that they are not able to call to people who have court orders against them. Anyone else heard of something similiar? Taking this on board, is there any point in sending orders to them for collection - surely it would be better to bypass them and go straight for installment orders?

Interested in what other people think.

Problem is that you have to go thru the motions of sending the order to the sheriff in order to proceed to the next stage i.e. the instalment order.
