I see Waterford shares are trading at .00, why is this and is it therefore a good time to buy?

I could afford a few hundred.

Without discussing this share, when you see .00 it means less than a cent.

It not really zero , or you could buy the company for nothing.

For example if a share was worth €0.001.

Waterford Wedgewood shares have traded under 1 cent ie € 0.01 for the last few months and even below 0.5 cents - so a lot of sites round this down to 0.00

Because ill-informed comment perhaps generated by business competitors could cause a run on a company's shares and bankrupt it.

I'm not sure too many serious investors make decisions based on web forums... but sure no harm in protecting a few less well informed individuals by censoring the stuff they are given access to. Protect them from themselves in a way :)

I'm was talking about protecting companies from malicious or ill-informed comment which could lead to their collapse, something none of us should want in the present climate.
