Shared Ownership

Hi i'm new to this site, just wondering if anyone can give me any help re; the shared ownership. I have a personal loan which is approx 10,000 at the mo i'll have it cleared next august. I earn 26,000 per annum, i don't have any other loans apart from that one. Would the council approve me with the loan or would i need to have it cleared?

Apparantly the council have stopped doing shared ownership. Just give the council a buzz to confirm
