Shared Ownership house after break up.

Hi all,

Myself and my partner got a Shared ownership house 3years ago we have split up and am wondering what to do about the house? ex has said we should sell it.i told him i would like to hold onto it,we have a daughter together,not married. Im not working at the moment and he is still paying the mortgage. Ive been trying to ring the council all week and cannot get talking to anybody in the know. they say oh il get so and so to ring back but they never do. Im just going around in circles.

Its quiet a tricky one, i'm not 100% sure what you should do, have you contacted a solicitor regarding this as money and split ups (especially when not married) can be tricky. I dont think DCC are the best to contact, I'd say your solicitor would be best.
