Shared Ownership and negative equity

Hi, I read somewhere here that AH property owners are protected from negative equity. I bought my apartment in 2005 on the Shared Ownership scheme but it is an affordable property also i.e. market value was 275,000 and I bought it at 200,000. I am just wondering if there is a similar level of protection against negative equity?

Thanks,

I think its to do with the clawback. You dont pay any if you sell the house for less than you paid for it basically.

Thanks for that. Can anyone else who has bought on shared ownership but at a discount confirm that this is the case or explain this a bit more?

Thanks, would really appreciate feedback.
