Hi there...I find myself in a bit of a predicament & would seriously appreciate some input/opinions. I have a number of Irish Banking shares (now delisted) as ADR's which will automatically be bought in April for pittance should I choose to take no action. I would prefer to convert the ADR's & hold on the ISEQ, basically let them sit on the off chance that in time (long term) they may come back to something of value regardless of how small. My problem however is that the Stockbroker/Bank that I have these shares with can not convert such as they do not offer trading on the ISEQ...
The issue is that the value is so small & I would be treating the Irish stockbroker merely as a holding a/c to let these sit longterm, 15/20 yrs, is this even viable? A/c mgmt. charges/quarterly fees/inactivity fees etc. Are people aware of Irish S/brokers that would handle this sort of transaction for small overheads?? As I said I fear this may not even make sense...
Appreciate any thoughts/input on this,
Cheers,
Paul
