Hi, I am making my first year end returns for company. It is always confusing in the beginning of new tasks. I have a balance sheet. Looks everything balancing. But what to do with shares which were issued on the opening of company. Do I need to reflect it in balance sheet under capital and reserves? There were no actually paid any cent for that €1 shares and it would not balance on other side of balance sheet if I add it. And one more question. In CT1 form there is section shareholders funds - positive and negative (from helpsheet should be equal to assets). If the liabilities is not taken in account how can it be negative? Or it is supposed to be NET assets? I have more liabilities than assets. Thanks for any advice.

Is that capital account same as owner's investment? Then it would equal zero? Absolutely confused ...

for share capital:

either

1. dr. other debtors 1
cr share capital 1

or dr. director current account
cr. share capital
