My boyfriend is a batchelor farmer and has built a bungalow for himself on the land. Nextdoor is the old family farmhouse, derelict - but in his name.
We are going to renovate the old farmhouse and I am willing to contribute towards the cost as I would intend to live in it.
What are the implications for me - if things dont work out. How should I go about this to ensure that I have some security??

You should either ensure that the title is transferred into joint names with a percentage share reflecting your respective equity, or have a charge in your name registered over it, or indeed a side agreement as to how you would be compensated if you break up.
Either way, but especially If you intend to have children together I would strongly advise you to get legal advice.
