I would advise opening a demo account first and practive with "fake" moneyfor a while until you are comfortable with spread trading and the system. Additionally you will have to decide what markets you are going to trade i.e. equities, foreign exchange etc. All the spread betting companies provide free training seminars or you could sign up to a site like tradefx.ie for unbiased training.
