Setting up an account -Does it matter what branch?

I am going to be setting up a business account.

I intend to go to a branch near where I currently work, just for convenience, to set the account up.

This branch however will not be very convenient when I move job.
Is this a problem?

Would there be any reason / advantages to opening the account maybe near where I live, or intend to work?
 
It should not be an issue. You should make an effort to get to know someone in the branch where you'll be conducting your business so that you don't have to explain yourself each time you go to the branch.

I work in Dublin, my (personal) current account is in Dundalk. I haven't set foot in that branch since 1987. And that includes 2 mortgage approvals !
