Setting up a bookkeeper

I currently work in a finance dept in Industry and have qualified as an Accounting Technician. To make some extra money, I want to set up as a bookkeeper and do books at the evenings/weekends.

Any advise on how I go about getting some clients? And also what on average is a competitive rate to charge? I appreciate any advise given, thanks in advance.
