Service out of the Jurisdiction

i plan to serve a legal document ( eg. petition to wind up a company) on a person resident in Northern Ireland and am wondering what the procedure is re: serving same. any views appreciated.

Your question is unclear. Is this an Irish Jurisdiction petition ( which would explain the service out of the jurisdiction question) or a N.I. Jurisdiction petition?

If it is Irish, on what basis do you think the Irish Courts would have any jurisdiction? And if its N.I., then its not outside their jurisdiction.
