Not sure if I have the right forum. Is it illegal for restaurants to impose a 10% (for eg) service charge on all bills and then keep this for themselves.. What I mean is.. this service charge is not distributed to the waiting staff as tips? If so, does anyone know where you can complain about this? thanks and apologies if i have the wrong forum.
