Serious problems on estate with house bought last year

Bought house in 2001 in estate in Midlands . Probably 120 houses in estate with a 20% Social housing Quota

We have tremendous litter problems ...common areas ...no bins ...rubbish in common areas burned and in piles and junk dumped .....it is a disgrace if i showed fotos you wouldnt believe all 750m from cathedral

The houses were mostly built by a well known Elphin builder who is now bankrupt who would be unwilling to transfer management of estate as he didnt manage it when he should so cant see him changing now if you could find him

Longford Council done a clean last year but had to shamed into it as RTE were contacted and ignored it since and Tidy Towns did as well ...the Litter Wardens take the call...we will be out there etc and then never come

what can we do ...if i had law behind me i would get the solicitors after it but not sure of my grounds

I read some article recently that there is or will be a new law on management companies to sort out builders who do not hand over control. Ask your county council.
