serif - opinions please

I am thinking about getting serif, can anyone tell me is it easy to use/worth having. Any opinions greatly appreciated.
 
If you mean Serif, the software publishing company, AFAIK produces numerous products e.g. PagePlus, DrawPlus, PhotoPlus, MoviePlus, WebPlus, MediaPlus, PanoramaPlus, FontManager, Font, Image & ClipArt Collections, Scanning Tools, etc. What products were you thinking of buying?
 
Thanks for that & excuse my ignorance, it's pageplus x4. I will be using it mainly for artwork. Thanks
