Sending money to Canada

Just wondering most economical way to go about sending/bringing €3000 equivalent of CAD dollars to Canada. €3000 is for family member. Visiting in person so could bring cash/draft - did this before (got cash with no1 currency co). Bank transfer option also. Manny thanks.

I use Wise (formally Transferwise) for currency exchanges. You avoid the outrageous FX rates that banks will offer you and their fee is typically <0.5%. Other services are available.

Agreed. Transferwise (Wise) is great. If they (family member) have a Revolut card you could look at CAD rates and transfer Euro into it directly.
