Just moved in a house and there are some floor boards left over from getting floor laid - They're deffo not laminate. I think they're semi solid floor boards

If I cut this up into small pieces will they burn in open fire ?

Thanks

I'm sure they'd burn eventually but I'd say they'd spark severely, I'm sure even given time they wouldn't dry out right to burn because of whatever finish is on them

I'd be concerned that the finish on the hard-wood veneer and the adhesive used to bond the veneer, the softwood and the balance board would give off toxic fumes.

they will burn, but there is a fair chance you could have a chimney fire or at least crack the liner of your chimney as the staining on the floor will stick to your flue and buring items like this is one of the main causes of chimye fires as a result.

I would not burn them inside of the house, but, I have used the garden chimny to burn many items of an Irish summer night, as in 2 bunk bed frames, and entire floor area of semi solid flooring and two trees I cut down. They must be bone dry though.
