Selling shares without an account

Hi

Does anyone know anyway to sell shares without having an account with a stockbroker. I thought Capita might be able to help, but the shares are not registered with them, so was looking for an easier way to do this without having to go to the bother of setting up an account. I have the share certificate and just want to sell them.

Who are the registrars and what is the company? Some companies have arrangements with the registrars to assist in the sale/purchase of small amounts of shares. Otherwise, you will have to use a stockbroker. As you hold the certificate, they will NOT sell until they are in possession of the share cert.
