How do you go about selling Vodafone shares of a family member who died some years ago?

You don't mention if the daughter's mother is still living, so I will presume that she is not.

Under the rules set out in the Succession Act, all his property should pass to the daughter. She, or somebody acting on her behalf, should make application to the Probate Office for what are termed Letters of Administration. That should prove her entitlement to all the deceased's property, and she can then deal with it as she sees fit.
