Selling my car - unwarranted correspondence received

Hi there,
I have recently gone about selling my car on some of the well known car web sites. I only put my email address as the point of contact and the amount of spam emails received stating "will buy your car for the amount but first....."

Is this commonplace and has anyone else experienced something similiar?

I had a car advertised on Carzone three-four years ago and I still get those spam emails.
 
That BS is all over the car sales websites. I got 2 such mails today one guy even offered to 'wrap' the car for shipping but got upset when I gave him some abuse.
 
This is very annoying, I get a lot of this, I usually mark the email addresses as spam. Also be aware of the phonecall froma UK number, with someone saying they have a buyer waiting for your car.
