Selling house. What would auctioneer cost

Most of the ones that I contacted recently in Dublin were willing to do it for 1% (+ marketing costs of a few hundred) + VAT. Even the ones who advertised that their fee was 1.5%. This is for a house valued at c. €400K in case that makes any difference.

1.1% + fees quoted from multiple auctioneers in North kildare.
They don't seem to undercut each other beyond that.
 
150k value might see them looking at 1.5% + vat if they see it as a property that will need some effort to sell.

If it's not in the best of areas you might find the highest price is the best price.
