Will I be liable to pay any tax here? Also does anyone know if I'm liable to have pay anything in the States once I move? Thank you

M murphaph Registered User Messages 1,136 9 Nov 2007 #2 Re: Selling to move oversea's No tax to pay here anyway. Your own home is exempt from Capital Gains Tax. Can't see the americans asking for a cut of your own money 'just because' but I'm sure someone will clarify. Best of luck with your move.
