Selling House - how to touch up an old fridge/freezer?

I am currently upgrading my house - tiling, wooden floors etc. prior to selling. I have a pretty old fridge freezer which, although functional, looks the worst for wear. It has a lot of rust around the edges and generally looks quite poor. I'm wondering if there is a way I can touch it up to get rid of the pretty vile look without having to replace it altogether.

mickeyg, I've changed the title of this thread to something more meaningful than 'Selling House' and have moved it to Homes and Gardens, where it belongs (and where you're more likely to get helpful suggestions).

You could try treating the rust and applying a coat of [broken link removed] in the colour of your choice? (although it'll cost a few bob to cover the whole front and sides of a fridge/freezer...)

You could spray paint it, but is it worth the bother? It's the house you're selling and an old kitchen appliance (cleaned up or not) wouldn't clinch a sale for me.

.. I seem to recall some specialist type paints in Woodies for spay painting appliances if your want to ring them (or perhaps dropping by would be better to avoid the 'duh!' factor)
